Heart rate

Press one of the two buttons to activate the home screen. Now the display shows you the current date, battery status and your current heart rate.

Steps

The display shows you the amount of steps you took on the current day. The status bar symbolizes how close you are to your scheduled step-time goal. You can set this daily goal in the VIITA app.

Calories

This screen shows you how many calories you have burned on the current day. The status bar symbolizes how close you are to your scheduled step-time goal. You can set this daily goal in the VIITA app.

Note: If you do not carry your VIITA watch, our intelligent algorithm recognizes and considers this. The algorithm disables the HRV and micro-movement metrology and instead uses values from your individual past. This ensures that you get accurate information about your calorie consumption, even if you do not wear your VIITA watch.

Dehydration

Your VIITA automatically calculates the amount of water you need each day and also shows you how much you are currently consuming. This way, you know at any time how much water you have consumed. For example: If 2.3 liters appear on your VIITA’s display at 10:00 PM then you should have consumed at least 2.3 liters of fluid between 00:00 and 10:00 PM.

Big Data

Thanks to the millions of data VIITA has collected since 2011, it has been possible to develop an algorithm which determines your recommended water intake very precisely. Just a mere 2% lack of fluids may cause a power deficit of up to 20%. This power loss is reflected in many measurable factors.

The following measurement data are used to calculate your individual water requirement:

  • Data of the micro movement sensor
  • Heart rate
  • Heart rate variability
  • Regeneration status
  • Stress history
  • Movement pattern of the last 7 days
  • Sleep duration and quality

Note: If you do not carry your VIITA watch, our intelligent algorithm recognizes and considers this. The algorithm disables the HRV and micro-movement metrology and instead uses values from your individual past. This will ensure that you get accurate information about your water usage, even if you are not wearing your VIITA watch.

Regeneration

This screen shows you your current regeneration status. If this value is high, you are well rested and ready for the next workout. If the value is low, however, you should skip your workout.

Stress

This display shows your current stress level. If this value is high, you are currently exposed to high levels of stress. Not only physical stress, but also mental stress can be recognized.

Recommendation

Endurance Workout

This screen shows your current individual training recommendation. This displayed value represents the upper limit of your pulse range. Your workout should therefore take place in a pulse range below this number and not exceed the displayed value.

Strength Training

Break: NO TRAINING

Your body is not optimally regenerated. Better take a break.

Easy: LIGHT TRAINING

For training sessions with relatively little weight. You should be able to repeat each exercise 20-25 times and use not more than 50% of your maximum performance. You should complete 2-3 sets and take a break of 60 seconds between each set. For example, if you are able to make a repetition of a 100kg bench press, then you should not train with more than 50 kg during light training.

Normal: NORMAL TRAINING

In normal training, your goal is to achieve 8-12 repetitions per set. The intensity should be 60-80% of your maximum (in the example above, that would be 60-80 kg on a bench press). Plan three sets per exercise and 2-3 exercises per muscle group.

Hard: HARD TRAINING

During hard training, your goal is to lift a lot of weight. Remember to warm up thoroughly to prevent injuries! Train so that you can do 3-5 reps per exercise and then perform 3-5 sets.

Proper warm-up is extremely important to prevent injury! Use about 20-30% of your maximum power to warm up and do 10-15 repetitions with this weight before starting the actual exercise. The warm-up must be performed separately for each muscle group and immediately before the exercise.


Please note:
The training recommendation provides information about which training your body can handle based on your general regeneration. If you have a muscle soreness at a specific part of your body, it may not or hardly affect your general recovery. In this case, we would also advise against exercises that include these affected muscle groups. If you are injured, you should not follow the training recommendations of your VIITA Watch.

Activity

You can record any of your activities with the Multisport feature. It saves your heart rate variability and the duration of your activity. The information is stored in the internal memory of your VIITA Hybrid until you synchronize your watch with the VIITA app.

In the VIITA app you can see the exact course of your workouts in a detailed day view as well as a weekly overview.

Press the button at the top to start an activity. During an activity, the display stays on, showing you the current duration of the activity and your current heart rate.

Press the button at the top to pause the activity.

Press the lower button to save the activity and the upper button to continue the activity.

Once you finished your activity, press the button at the bottom to get back to the home screen.

Notifications

Your VIITA Hybrid HRV is able to display notifications received on your smartphone. It shows from which service (Facebook, Whatsapp, E-mail, etc.) the message comes from and who the sender is.

Press the upper button to read the message, the lower one to mark it as read.

Press one of the two buttons to ignore the call.

Please note:

To use push notifications on your watch, you’ll need to allow banner notifications on your phone. How this works at Apple you will find out here. You also have to turn on notifications in the VIITA app.
