  • How to determine the firmware version of the watch.

    In the APP go to WATCH -> Connected -> Firmware Version.

  • How to determine the software version of the app.

    In the APP go to Account -> Version.

  • Does VIITA Watch work both with iOS and Android?

    Yes, the VIITA Watch works with both iOS and Android. Check out the user-friendly VIITA app for both operating systems.

  • How long is the VIITA Watch battery life?

    The battery of all watch models lasts for up to 2-3 weeks (depending on the model).

  • How to charge VIITA Watch?

    Every VIITA Watch comes with a charging station. Simply connect the charging station to any USB plug. It takes about 2 hours to fully charge.

  • What languages are supported on VIITA Watch?

    The VIITA Watch supports English, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese and traditional and simple Chinese. Depending on local demand our engineers will add more languages.

  • Which notifications are displayed by the VIITA Watch?

    The VIITA Watch displays notifications about social networks, text messages, calls and much more. Those visual messages are accompanied by vibrations. In the menu, you can easily turn the notifications on or off.

  • Can the VIITA Watch battery be replaced?

    End customers cannot replace the battery themselves due to the waterproof built. We are, however, working on a battery change program.

  • Can the VIITA Watch straps be replaced?

    Yes. The VIITA Active HRV and the 45mm VIITA Hybrid HRV come with a 22mm wide strap. The 40mm VIITA Hybrid HRV comes with a strap of 20mm width. You can purchase more straps in our store.

  • Can the VIITA be updated?

    Of course. The VIITA Watch can be updated via smartphone app as soon as new releases are available. We will provide regular updates for your VIITA so you can enjoy all the new features.

  • How long is the warranty?

    We offer a warranty duration of two years.

  • I don’t get notifications on Android

    Some Android devices prevent the VIITA app from sending notifications to your watch. Most of the time, the reason is any kind of battery optimisation.

    We advise to restart your device after any change you made to be sure that the change will be implemented successfully

    Android 6.0.1+

    For devices with Android 6.0.1 or newer please see if the battery optimisation doesn’t prevent the VIITA app from sending you notifications:

    1. Go to “settings” on your device
    2. Choose battery
    3. Click on the three dot symbol and choose “battery optimisation”
    4. Go down to the VIITA app and go on “Don’t optimise”

     

    Android 7+

    1. Go to “settings” on your device
    2. Choose “apps”
    3. Search for “VIITA” and click on it
    4. Choose “battery”
    5. Go to “battery optimisation”
    6. Choose to display all apps
    7. Search for “VIITA” and click on “don’t optimise”

     

    Android 9

    On Android 9 the adaptive battery might prevent the VIITA app from sending notifications.

    1. Go to “settings” on your device

    3. Go to “adaptive battery”
    4. Check if the VIITA app is on the list of limited apps

    Check that VIITA is on the auto-start list:

    3. Click on the settings symbol in the upper right corner
    4. Go to “App Autolaunch”
    5. Activate VIITA there

     

    Android 8 and later

    Check if the your device is on normal clear:

    1. Go to “settings” on your device
    2. Click on “advanced” or “system” (depending on you device)
    3. Go to “Recent apps management”
    4. Check if “normal clear” is activated

    Check if the VIITA app is excempted from battery optimisation:

    1. Go to “settings” on your device
    2. Click on “battery” –> “battery optimisation”
    3. Click on “apps not optimised” and choose “All apps”
    4. Find VIITA and check that it’s set on “Don’t optimise”

     

    OnePlus 3

    Check if autostart is enable for VIITA:

    4. Activate for the VIITA app

    Ignore battery restrictions for VIITA:

    1. Go to “settings” on your device
    2. Choose “Manage Apps’ battery usage”
    3. Go to “apps”

    Allow notifications from the VIITA app:

  • Is the heart rate monitor measuring all day and what is the interval of the measurement?

    The HRV sensor measures your heart rate and heart rate variability 80 times a second, day and night.

  • Can you make phone calls with the VIITA Watch?

    Since neither a microphone or a loudspeaker are integrated in the VIITA Watch, you cannot make any calls.

  • Does it have NFC?

    No.

  • Does it have WiFi?

    No.

  • Is the VIITA Watch waterproof?

    The VIITA Hybrid HRV is 3 ATM waterproof. The VIITA Active HRV is 10 ATM waterproof.

  • Does the VIITA Watches have a touch screen?

    VIITA Active HRV: Yes, the touchscreen offers a perfect smartwatch experience.

    VIITA Hybrid HRV: No, this series is controlled by buttons.

  • Which operating system is the VIITA Watch using?

    VIITA Watch runs with Nucleus® RTOS for a greatly optimized energy management.

  • Can the VIITA track my activities?

    VIITA Watch is an advanced and accurate Activity Tracker. Thanks to the 3-axis accelerometer and HRV sensor, it can track steps, calories burned, distance traveled and minutes of activity and shows you if you are achieving your daily goals and if you are improving your health.

  • Is it mandatory for my smartphone to be connected to the VIITA Watch at all times?

    No, you can also use your VIITA Watch without your smartphone. The internal memory stores your data for up to a month.

  • Does the VIITA Watch support vibrations for notifications?

    Yes, there is a built-in vibration unit for discrete notification feedbacks inside the VIITA Watch.

  • Do I have to pay attention to something when deleting the app?

    Yes, when you delete the app (for example when you switch to the Beta app) it’s important that you log out before. Otherwise, your data is not stored and you might lose some measurement data!
